4 Reasons You Should Start Each Morning With This Turmeric Tea

Turmeric has often been ignored, and left to sit a glass jar in your cabinet collecting dust, but now more research has come out, and people are finally discovering the benefits of this Asian spice.
The power lies in the main component, curcumin, which has gives you a multitude of health benefits including the prevention of cancer.
Here's an amazing tea that combines turmeric with some other incredible ingredients to make the perfect cancer fighting tea...
The star ingredients of this tea are the caraway seeds, almond milk, cumin, coconut oil, and turmeric, all of witch have shown protect you from cancer in addition to improving your overall health.
This tea is best consumed later at night when you're ready to relax, or before you go to bed because it has a warming effect on your body that may leave you feeling a little drowsy.
If you're still not convinced this tea is for you, here are all the positive benefits each ingredient has to offer.

1. Amazing almond milk.

Most tea recipes would call for regular milk, but I think substituting is a better decision for a variety of different reasons.
To begin with, many people are lactose intolerant, or have certain allergies and health conditions that prevent them from using dairy, and almond milk is the perfect fix.
Additionally, almonds are incredibly high in anti-inflammatory properties that help protect your body from chronic inflammation that can lead to cancer.

2. Curing cumin.

Cumin is another amazing antioxidant that is helpful in the fight against cancer. It's also full of essential minerals like iron and magnesium, and was thought to be a "cure all" seed amongst many different cultures.
While it should kill some cancer cells its main goal is to fight off the other carcinogens in your body and toxins in your body, which is great to include in your diet, however, it shouldn't be used as the stand alone treatment for your cancer.

3. Tiny caraway seeds.

Don't be fooled by their tiny size, caraway seeds are actually packed full of antioxidants. As a cousin of cumin, caraway seeds share some of the similar cancer fighting properties along with the ability to clear your body of toxins.
These seeds are also a powerful source fiber that keeps your colon fully functioning, and free of harmful conditions like infections or cancer.
However, if you are pregnant or breast feeding, these seeds should be avoided because they could be possibly harmful to the child.

4. Turmeric time.

As mentioned before, the power of turmeric lies in the powerful anti-inflammatory known as curcumin.
In addition to its antioxidant power, and its incredible ability to relieve inflammation, curcumin even has the ability to kill cancer cells, along with improving the condition of our existing cells.
The holistic components of turmeric are also able to help your body it you're experiencing liver, lung, or neurological problems as well, which makes it a key part of this recipe.

Recipe:

  • 4 black peppercorns
  • 1 cup of almond milk (regular milk, or coconut milk can be substituted)
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of cold pressed, orgninc, and unrefined coconut oil
  • 1/4 a teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/4 a teaspoon of caraway seeds
Start off by getting a small pot, then add the cumin, black peppercorns, caraway seeds, turmeric, coconut oil, and let it sauté for about a minute, or until you begin to smell the ingredients.
Next, you add the milk and bring the mixture to a boil. Once it reaches a boil allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes, then cover it with a lid and remove it from heat, and let it settle for 5 more minutes. Now all you have to do is strain the solids out, and it's ready to enjoy.
