In the most rural parts of Romania, it’s not uncommon to find wild horses bound by chains. These harsh restraints keep the poor animals from escaping back to the wild.
Ovidiu, a veterinarian working with international animal aid group Four Paws, found a horse who had been wearing chains for years. He immediately released the helpless creature from it’s shackles and was shocked to see the thankful horse’s response. See what gratitude truly looks like in the video below.
